Powerlines
The 7th photograph best demonstrates the rule of thirds as the structure is clearly not positioned in the middle of the shot. The first photograph best demonstrates a consideration of point of view as well as positive and negative shapes, as the photograph was taken directly underneath the structure in order to create an interesting shot due to the positive and negative shapes. The fourth photograph best leads the viewers eyes through the work as the lines continuously connect with other power lines farther back in the shot, seemingly endlessly. The fifth photograph best displays what I've learned about composition this term as it includes a proper range of light and dark values, with a consideration of positive and negative shapes as well as an interesting point of view. The sixth image is the best example of a black and white photograph with proper exposure as it contains pure white values as well as solid black values, as well as a range of various gray shades.

Pattern and Texture
My best photograph is the first image of the leaves. It was taken somewhat close up in order to capture as much detail as possible. The photograph was taken from above the leaves, and it was taken horizontally. The photo does somewhat follow the rule of thirds as the most interesting portions of the photograph are not directly in the middle of the photograph, and instead where the leaves connect is the center of the image. This photo displays a very detailed look at the texture on leaves, and also display pattern with the similarities between the different leaves.
The 5th and 6th images may be somewhat underexposed, as they seem to have more dark values than light values throughout the entire image, sacrificing some detail. No photo seems to be overexposed. The first two images are properly exposed as there is a nice blend of dark and light values throughout.

Line and Shape
The photographs I took are all from various locations around my house, and consist mainly of man-made objects that I felt displayed line and shape well. A majority of my photographs are from a medium distance away from the subject, allowing one to distinguish what the photo is of while still leaving a clear view of the details in the photographs. Nearly all of the photographs were taken with the subject straight ahead, except notably the photograph of the stairs. Each of the photographs were taken vertically. The rule of thirds was considered in each of the photographs, with no photograph featuring the subject directly in the center of the shot. The staircase photograph is the most dynamic photo, leading the viewer's eyes down the staircase by following the railing.
